Meet The Team!

How we did it.

Show & Tell (formerly known as THRIVE Center) was originally founded in 2006, when Colorado was granted funds for a Community Parent Resource Center to serve families with children with disabilities.

At the time, the current Executive Director, Yvette Plummer, was working as a Parent Advisor and Community Outreach Coordinator at the Colorado PEAK Center.  She is a founding member of Show & Tell.

Research shows BIPOC students are often located in schools with less qualified teachers, teachers with lower salaries, and novice teachers.

Why we do it.

Show & Tell exists to provide parents with information and training about disabilities; parent and children's rights under the IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) and other relevant laws; and resources in the Denver Metro area.
